Boston joins several other cities in Massachusetts with bag ordinances

    

The city council and mayor have spoken and a bag ordinance will go into affect for Boston, MA in December 2018.  Grocery, retail and restaurants will all be faced with ensuring they provide reusable bags at a fee of $.05 for customers that do not bring their own bags.  The city has let us know a frequently asked questions page along with key information will be available soon on their website. Check out this article on the ordinance passing.  To learn about more cities in MA with bag ordinances, check out our web page.
